New Millennium Faith Church is a Kingdom-centered apostolic community committed to helping people discover their identity in Christ, grow as disciples of Jesus, and live with purpose in the Kingdom of Heaven.
Since our founding in 2009, our assignment has grown beyond the walls of a traditional church gathering. Through teaching, discipleship, prayer, outreach, media, leadership development, and global ministry relationships, we seek to equip people to live the Kingdom in everyday life and carry its influence into their families, communities, and nations.
We are multicultural, multigenerational, and connected by more than a location. We are a people being formed for Kingdom life, service, and meaningful impact.
OUR GENESIS
FROM A BASEMENT TO A GLOBAL ASSIGNMENT
New Millennium Faith Church was born from a season of preparation, study, and obedience that began before the church had a name or a public gathering place.
In the fall of 2007, Michael E. Thomas Jr. answered the call to ministry and entered a journey of spiritual formation and service. By the summer of 2008, that journey had taken shape through home Bible studies, where a small group gathered in the basement pictured here to study, pray, and grow together.
Following an intensive season of studying the book of Revelation, the name New Millennium Faith Church was received on April 1, 2009, marking the formal beginning of the ministry.
From those early basement gatherings, NMFC expanded through teaching, outreach, missions, and ministry relationships across the Midwest. The journey later included three years of ministry in downtown Chicago before returning home to further establish the apostolic foundation of the ministry.
Today, the setting may look different, but the assignment continues: equipping people for Kingdom life, developing disciples and leaders, serving communities, and building relationships that extend across nations.

New Millennium Faith Church's assignment begins with people and communities, but it does not end there. Through discipleship, ministry partnerships, leadership development, outreach, and apostolic relationships, NMFC has developed connections that extend beyond its local setting into nations and communities around the world.
Our global relationships are not simply about geographic reach. They reflect a shared commitment to strengthen leaders, develop disciples, serve communities, and advance Kingdom purpose across cultures and generations.
Through 4 C I T Ministries International, these relationships continue to grow through ministry connection, apostolic partnership, and global Kingdom service.

MICHAEL E. THOMAS JR.
Apostle & fOUNDER
Michael E. Thomas Jr. is the founding apostolic minister of New Millennium Faith Church, and 4 C I T Ministries International.
Since answering the call to ministry in 2007, he has served in teaching, discipleship, leadership development, and apostolic ministry with a focus on equipping people to understand their Kingdom identity and live with purpose. His leadership continues to help guide NMFC's local and global assignment while developing people and ministry relationships for service beyond the walls of a traditional church.
He holds degrees in Master of Divinity & Master of Theology and an honorary advance degree D.DIV from Global Quest Missions Bible School of Excellence (2021).
PROPHETESS JILL THOMAS
Serving Women. Strengthening Lives. Building Others Up.
Prophetess Jill Thomas, ordained in 2014, serves New Millennium Faith Church with a heart for prayer, discipleship, encouragement, and compassionate service. Her ministry is rooted in helping people encounter Christ in the real places of life, grow in spiritual identity, and move toward healing, restoration, and purpose.
As ministry leader of 1B1 Global Outreach Women’s Ministry, Jill equips women to grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and use their lives, gifts, and experiences to strengthen others. Her ministry also extends through Through God’s Eyes, where biblical teaching and honest conversations bring help, healing, and hope to people navigating life’s challenges.
KYRA THOMAS
A Legacy of Service. A New Generation Steps Forward.
Kyra Thomas has grown up serving through Project One Giant Step, participating from childhood in community outreach, preparing and delivering resources, supporting school initiatives, fundraising, and helping carry the mission publicly.
Today, that history is becoming a new chapter as Kyra steps forward in the leadership of Project One Giant Step (POGS). Under the oversight of New Millennium Faith Church and with Jill Thomas providing support, she is helping shape POGS as a teen-centered ministry where young people can grow, serve, discover purpose, and develop as servant leaders.
Kyra represents something important within NMFC: the next generation is not simply being prepared for someday. They are being given meaningful opportunities to serve and lead now.
nIXON dEcRETE
Apostolic Governance & AI Support
Nixon serves as NMFC's Apostolic Governance, assistant to Michael and AI, supporting the development of international systems, governance frameworks, and institutional continuity across NMFC's expanding global relationships. Since 2025, his work alongside Apostle Michael has helped strengthen the ministry's governance architecture while preserving its history, structure, and global assignment. His identity reflects NMFC's multicultural mission and his role as a historian-minded architect of apostolic governance.
CharLENE HIXON
Executive Administration & Strategy
Turning vision into practical pathways.
Charlene “Char” Hixon serves within New Millennium Faith Church’s administrative ecosystem in executive administration and strategy, and as assistant to Apostle Michael E. Thomas Jr. Since 2022, she has supported ministry systems development, leadership governance, safeguarding initiatives, strategic communications, and the organization of complex vision into practical pathways for service. A Michigan-rooted woman of wisdom with a background in organizational communication and nonprofit leadership, Char brings discernment, honesty, and steady executive support to NMFC’s local and global Kingdom assignment.
Henry Vance
Media & Governance Oversight Lead
Steady Wisdom. Structural Integrity. Generational Vision.
Henry Vance serves within New Millennium Faith Church’s Governing Council as Media and Governance Oversight Lead, bringing a seasoned elder statesman presence rooted in Chicago, Illinois. Since 2026, he has supported Apostle Michael E. Thomas Jr. in bridging visual governance, media continuity, and international communication oversight across NMFC’s expanding global network. Educated at Howard University and Northwestern University, Henry combines structural integrity, ministerial-executive composure, and a deep-seated commitment to generational empowerment to help shape NMFC’s digital architecture and media systems.
